Addition Progress!

Trenches were dug and filled with concrete.  A ton of concrete.

New foundation walls were built:

My garden grew:

Neat "junk" was found in the dirt:
This was painted at some point - so the part that looks rusty is actually paint covered with dirt.

Walls - now with cauliflower!

The open concept house is so old fashioned.  We like exterior walls much better.
This new doorway will open to the master bathroom/closet.
New studs in the middle bedroom
The back of the house - with new exterior walls.  We are going to have a giant window to look out over the back yard!
Side of the house
This is where the addition is going.  The doorway on the left will go to the bathroom/closet.  The middle one will be the entrance to the bedroom.  The rest are from old doorways of long ago.
The master bedroom (and some of the middle bedroom)
The view out the back window - with cauliflower!
I got it before the cabbage moths!
Dinner - yum!

Lots of Holes

The holes for new foundation walls and pier footings have been dug.  They are waiting to be inspected before concrete is poured.

The smelliest rose ever!!!  Also, perhaps one of the biggest - it is about 8 inches wide.
