Day 1 - Destruction

They removed all the molding and trim from the baseboards, around the doors, and around the windows.  They also pulled out the kitchen cabinets, exposed the fireplace, and pulled out the closet in the middle bedroom.
This is fireplace that was hidden by the wall in the front bedroom.  Notice all the leaves - either they fell down the chimney or a squirrel had a nest in there once.
Another picture of the front bedroom and fireplace.

This is the  middle bedroom - where we slept.  The carpet is gone - only to expose a lovely layer of linoleum underneath - there is plywood under that and then hopefully the original floors.  The other side of the fireplace in the above photo is here.  The closet is also gone.

The closet used to be here.  Apparently, there also used to be a floor vent there too...

The living room missing its molding and trim.

The living room looking at the two bedrooms (and the missing mantel from the middle bedroom).

The kitchen - but no cabinets.  (This will eventually be the master bedroom)
The top cabinets
This is where the sink used to be.  AND there are wood floors under the cabinets!  We should be able to use these to repair areas in the living room and two bedrooms.
