And the Kitchen

Yes, I like orange!

First, the new entry - door to the outside is to the left and the laundry room to the right.  A built in bench is under the window

A blurry and dark picture of the kitchen.  The walls are a more yellow-y orange, but orange none the less.  (And, no, the wall on the far right is not blue - it is white - the new side door (from above) is just to the right of the edge of the picture)

The light fixture over the island - when the light is on the yellow/orange "marble" things look really cool!

Light fixture over the sink - it is actually more iridescent in real life 

My giant cooktop - I can cook five things at once!

The oven and the microwave and most of the cabinet pulls.

Nearly Done...

Yippee!!  Lots of pictures.

First the floors:

This is the transition between the old pine floors and the new oak floors.

And now the rooms with paint.  I took these with my phone and they came out a bit blurry - better pictures later.

This is the living room - basically, the same color as before.

Front bedroom

Middle bedroom - the color is greener in real life - sort of pale celery color.

Finally, the master bedroom - a nice blue.

Chris put his skills to work and did this:

Our lovely wiring cabinet - every room has internet and coax cable - all controlled from this box.

I spent far too much time removing the paint from and repainting all the door knobs and locksets from the house.  I think they look quite nice.

Master bathroom - and its far too expensive mirrors.

They swivel on the brackets - great for tall or short people.
